COVID-19 Vaccinations

We will shortly be moving to a new booking system for COVID vaccinations.  If you have a mobile number registered with the surgery you may receive a text message inviting you to book your vaccination slot yourself.  if you do not have a mobile do not worry you will still be invited manually over the phone.  If you have your mobile number registered for your parents please take care to book for the correct person.

  • You can request your repeat prescriptions online and even get it straight from your nominated pharmacy. No paper, no visit to surgery! It will be faster for you to get your medication, no paper included so save some trees, and might release a bit of our staff time.
  • You can book appointments online!

These can be made ONLINE (NEW), at the desk or by telephone. We offer appointments 48 hours and 1 week ahead of the appointment date. The appointments are released at 8.30am each day for morning appointments and at 2.00pm each day for afternoon appointments.

Following the government announcement that 50 to 64 year olds will be able receive a free flu vaccination from 1 December the practice is working to make this available to newly eligible patients as early in December as we can.

As soon as we have supplies of the vaccine available we will contact patients aged 50 to 64 to offer you an appointment.  If you fall within this age group and are not in one of the eligible ‘at risk groups’ please do not contact the practice to book an appointment as we are not yet able offer you a definite date or time.

We are continuing to provide flu vaccinations to over 65s, under 65s with certain long-term medical conditions, pregnant women and young children. If you are in one of these eligible groups and have not yet had your flu vaccine please contact the practice as soon as possible to book an appointment.

Non NHS Fees

We are please to announce that we have a new member of our team!

Jaffer Rashid

Jaffer is a very experienced clinical pharmacist and is supporting  the GP's with medication/clinical reviews and follow ups.

We are entering flu season and Covid-19 makes delivering the flu vaccinations more of a challenge. Our priority is rolling out the campaign in the safest and quickest way possible.

We have started our flu vaccination campaign. If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, the practice will contact you to book an appointment over the next few weeks.

We are prioritising those patients who are most at risk.

Please do not contact the surgery for an appointment, we will contact you.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Patient Information
We are following the guidance and trying to reduce patient contact, so as of today we will be locking our doors to the surgery temporarily.
I understand that this will cause some concern but want to ensure you that we will still be providing our services to you but in a different way.
We need to provide a safe place for those patients that need to be seen face to face. We aim to do this by reducing footfall and triaging all our patients.
All GP consultations will be conducted via telephone or video call. Please call reception to book an appointment in the normal way or book online. If the GP feels that the consultation needs to be face to face they they will triage and book you into an appointment slot.
All prescriptions will be processed in the normal way. Please either request them online ( or put them through the letter box.
Phlebotomy service will be reserved for those that are clinically urgent
Nurse appointments will be assessed to see if they are clinically urgent and if so you will be seen. All non urgent requests will either be conducted remotely (if appropriate) or postponed to a more appropriate time
Please ensure your contact details (phone number/email address) are up to date
Please ensure you have nominated a chemist to have your prescription sent to
Please sign up for patient access, either via the NHSApp or Patient Access
Please rest assured that the Baldwins Lane Team are here for you during this challenging time and although our doors are closed our service to you will still continue throughout the coming weeks
We thank you for your understanding and patience at this difficult time
